Sons and Daughters of Haiti (SNDhaiti) is a (501c3) non-profit corporation established with the single goal of improving the standard of living for Haitian people. Our board consists of a diverse group of men and women who are committed to making a positive difference in Haiti.
Aly Laveaux, MBA
Aly Laveaux is a U.S.-based entrepreneur, philanthropist, independent film producer, and content creator. As the founder and Managing Director of Sons and Daughters of Haiti (SNDhaiti), and the executive producer and co-writer of the feature film This Unexpected Love, he works at the intersection of storytelling, cultural preservation, and community development. His mission is to make Haiti's cultural legacy visible, economically powerful, and impossible to ignore.
Roodny Jean
Roodny Jean was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of 11. He later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he earned a degree in Business Management.
Although he left his hometown of Carrefour-Feuilles at a young age, his connection to Haiti has remained strong. Driven by a deep commitment to his homeland, Roodny is passionate about giving back and creating opportunities that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Haitians.
Professionally, Roodny serves as a manager with Walgreens, one of the nation’s leading pharmaceutical and retail companies. Over the past 11 years, he has built a successful career centered on leadership, team development, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service. His dedication to serving others, both professionally and within the Haitian community, reflects his belief that strong leadership can be a powerful force for positive change.
Luther Laveaux
Luther Laveaux has a multidisciplinary background in education, civil engineering, business administration, health administration, and risk management. Throughout his professional career, he has trained and mentored teams on the importance of organizational compliance, operational standards, and professional accountability. He has also worked extensively in the private sector, helping implement best practices, innovative technologies, and customer-focused strategies that strengthen business value and improve organizational performance.
Luther currently works with State Farm Mutual Automobile and Property-Casualty Insurance Company as a Customer Interaction Review Specialist, where he focuses on risk management, compliance evaluation, and customer experience analysis.
Beyond his corporate experience, Luther is also recognized for his work in mentorship, entrepreneurship, and digital media. Through his professional guidance, public engagement, and educational initiatives, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering communities through knowledge, leadership, and strategic communication. He is the founder and voice behind Borderless Info, a media and educational platform focused on immigration, global affairs, economic awareness, and diaspora empowerment. His work across social media continues to expand his influence as an educator, commentator, and community advocate.
Luther earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. His combined experience in health administration, business operations, organizational leadership, and public communication reflects his dedication to service, education, and meaningful community impact.
Tevin Dugazon
Tevin Dugazon was born in Gonaïves, Haiti, and relocated to South Florida at the age of 11. He has a background in computer engineering and spent seven years working in that field with a global telecommunications company.
More recently, Tevin’s professional interests have expanded into real estate. In pursuit of this path, he obtained his real estate license and currently serves as a Sales Associate with Realty World of South Florida.
With experience in technology, telecommunications, and real estate, Tevin brings a practical and forward-thinking perspective to his work. His journey reflects adaptability, professional growth, and a continued commitment to building opportunities within the Haitian and South Florida communities.
Evens Laveaux
Evens Laveaux was born in Haiti and later relocated to the United States, where he excelled in track and field during his high school years. His dedication, discipline, and strong work ethic helped shape a successful professional career in the retail industry.
Evens built a long and accomplished career with Publix Super Markets, one of the largest employee-owned supermarket chains in the United States and a Fortune 500 company. Through years of leadership and service, he advanced into management, where he was responsible for team development, operational excellence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. He recently retired from Publix after a distinguished career and is now pursuing entrepreneurial interests and new business opportunities.
Throughout his professional journey, Evens has demonstrated a commitment to leadership, integrity, and community engagement. His experience in business operations, personnel management, and customer service continues to provide valuable insight as he explores new ventures and opportunities to make a positive impact.
Reginald Antoine Chevalier
Reginald Antoine Chevalier was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and relocated to the United States after completing high school. He studied Film Production at Columbia College Chicago, where he developed the creative and technical foundation that would shape his career in film, media, and entertainment.
Reginald is a producer, director, screenwriter, and actor based in South Florida. Through his production company, Chevalier United Entertainment, he has written, produced, and performed in independent films and documentaries that highlight Haitian culture, identity, and the immigrant experience.
As a filmmaker and entrepreneur, Reginald is committed to using storytelling as a tool for cultural preservation, community engagement, and diaspora connection. His work reflects a passion for elevating Haitian voices and creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration.
Reginald serves as a Director of Sons and Daughters of Haiti (SNDhaiti), where he supports initiatives that promote Haitian culture, strengthen diaspora relationships, and advance opportunities for Haiti’s future.
Obianuju Sandra Madueke-Laveaux, MD, MPH
Dr. Obianuju Sandra Madueke-Laveaux is a Nigerian-born physician who has developed a deep love for Haiti, the homeland of her husband and children. Through her personal connection to Haitian culture and community, she has become committed to supporting efforts that uplift and create meaningful change in the lives of the Haitian people.
Dr. Laveaux is an obstetrician-gynecologist affiliated with the University of Chicago Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and has built a distinguished career in women’s health, patient care, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
With a strong belief in hard work, dedication, and service, Dr. Laveaux understands that lasting impact is created through commitment, compassion, and action. Her desire to be part of Sons and Daughters of Haiti (SNDhaiti) reflects her belief that collective effort can help strengthen communities and create a better future for Haiti.
Jamaul, The Vision
Jamaul Divisien, known professionally as Jamaul, The Vision, is a rapper, storyteller, and creative artist from Broward County, Florida. Raised in a Haitian household, Jamaul uses music as a powerful form of self-expression, drawing from themes of identity, resilience, survival, and purpose.
Inspired by artists such as Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem, Jamaul blends lyrical depth with personal storytelling, social awareness, and spirituality. His music reflects both the challenges and triumphs of his journey, while connecting with listeners through honesty, emotion, and authenticity.
In addition to music, Jamaul has expanded into film, serving as an executive producer and actor in This Unexpected Love. He also contributed to the film’s soundtrack with the lead single “Creole Roots,” further demonstrating his versatility as an artist and creative collaborator.
Beyond entertainment, Jamaul remains active in his community through Sons and Daughters of Haiti (SNDhaiti), where he supports efforts focused on advocacy, empowerment, cultural pride, and positive change within the Haitian community.
